Our Purpose

Our purpose is to tangibly share the love of Christ with everyone. We believe everyone has value and should be shown love. James 1:27 explains this best, "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." When that was written, widows and orphans were the poor and homeless and had no means of financial security.

If we can start to meet the physical needs of a person, then perhaps the door can be open for spiritual and mental needs of that person as well. We believe that when the spirit of God resides in a person un-restrained, the mind and body will follow. First, people need to know that God does in fact love them and only wants good for them. That is why we do not judge anyone we serve but simple share the good news that they are loved and valued.
